The Spring is officially here. The birds are loud, the sky looks right, but it is still rather cold - just hovering around 0 C.

Saturday morning, weather forecast calls for a dry sunny day, and George and I are planning to make a trip to Port Hope, Ontario.

I am getting ready to leave from my home in Oakville

Winter arrived early to Toronto this year, so our cars got stuck in the garages way to early. I have been planning for a while to get the headrests installed on my 71 DSpecial, so I thought that this would be a good reason to spend some time in the garage.

First thing to determine was weather I need wide headrests (old style) that are attached at the side of the seat backrest, or narrow ones that can be inserted right into the backrest.

Wide style:

Hi,

I present to you my 1977 GS pallas. She was sold in October 1976 so it's one of first 1977 model. It's a first hand car in very good condition : no rust no body's dammage,... She had only a major oil leakage on the engine but I don't know where. I bought this car in september 2006.

Hello,
I have to pull the armature from a '65 engine to clean it. The old shop manual says that you use an armature extractor screw, (part # 2205-VA) which I could make....

does anyone know the diameter and other particulars of this screw ?

I am a 2cv lover for the last 10 years. My good friend Nebo introduced me to the forum and am looking forward to sharing info with like minded Citroenthusiasts. I have a 67 commerciale version that has the spare in the engine compartment and folding seat over a flat bed in the back. This model was exempt from tax when purchased and was popular as a working car and leisure combination together.
Salut!

I grew up in Serbia (ex Yugoslavia). My dad's first car was 1967 2CV, and he has been driving only Citroens ever since - 1970 Ami 8 , 1976 Ami 8 Break, 1976 GS Pallas, and he still drives 1980 GS Super 1.3. While at University in late 80's I drove a 1977 Dyane 6.

After immigrating to Canada 1993, I did not own a Citroen for many years. In 2004 I decided to go back to my roots and my true passion - classic Citroens. One model is especially dear to my heart - since I first saw ...

Welcome to the forum of Citroen Enthusiasts of North America!

As an introduction, I will tell you what prompted us to start this forum. I have been participating in a number of Citroen forums (e.g. www.gs-gsa.org, British Citroen Car Club, Yahoo GSA group, www.citroenforumsrbije.com) for quite some time now. People share their Citroen stories, announce events, discuss technical issues, chat .... In some of my posts, I wrote about Citroen events in North America, our cars and clubs.
